FAQ’s
Is coaching right for me?
Are you in a state of transition, and feeling lost?
Are you longing for more connection in your life?
Do you want to create lasting change?
Do you feel like something big is missing from your life?
Are you ready to commit to success?
If you answered yes to any of these, then coaching might be right for you. My coaching brings together rigorous training in the Co-Active model, my intuition, and master-level Reiki training to create a safe & challenging space for you to grow in.
Depending on your needs in each session, we can walk through guided visualizations, process emotions, brainstorm strategies, explore new perspectives, and befriend and integrate unknown parts of yourself. Your goals are my goals, and I want to support you in whatever way I can.
What does a typical coaching session look like?
Once we decide to partner together, our first session will be a 90-minute deep dive into who you are, what you want to achieve in our time together, and how to best work as a team. From there, we will schedule 60-minute sessions (on Zoom, phone, or in-person if you are in the LA area) every other week or twice a month.
To best utilize our time together, you should come to each session with a topic or topics in mind. I created this PDF to help you prepare. These topics can be related to your overall goals for coaching, or they can be more immediate and pressing.
You will also have homework or meaningful actions that you’re responsible for between sessions, and I will hold you accountable in the ways that best support you. Remember, a lot of the growth you’ll experience comes between sessions, so be ready to bring your commitment to action in this coaching journey.
What is the difference between Coaching & Therapy?
In the simplest terms, coaching is goal-oriented and action-focused, with an emphasis on what’s true right now and what you want to create in the future. While coaching can be therapeutic, it is not a substitute for licensed therapy or psychiatry in treating mental health issues such as depression or serious trauma.
Many of my clients have found it beneficial to combine coaching with therapy or psychiatry, as this approach provides them with comprehensive support on multiple levels.
How much does this coaching cost?
We have two 60-minute sessions a month, and I bill $550* at the beginning of each month via Zelle or Venmo. You also have access to me via email/text between sessions.
For the best hope of success, it’s helpful to expect our alliance to last 6 months—but we can adjust this according to your needs as we start working together. I have some clients who only want a 3-month commitment, and many clients who wish to continue beyond 6 months as new goals arise.
*I do offer a sliding scale option for folks who are needing financial assistance, so if this is you, please reach out to see if we can find a way to work together.
